Terry O'Neill

Terry is a consultant in the insurance and reinsurance practice of the London office of Clifford Chance. He was a partner with the firm from 1980 to 2007. He has worked on all aspects of insurance and reinsurance and many major issues which have affected the market. He became a solicitor advocate in 1994. He is the joint author, with Jan Woloniecki, of The Law of Reinsurance (2nd Edition, 2004, published by Thomson Sweet & Maxwell). In 2006 he became a non-executive director of Arthur J. Gallagher (UK) Limited where he chairs the Risk Management and Compliance Committee and sits on the Audit Committee. He is a member of the City of London Law Society Insurance Committee.
